Tacoma Hospital Campus Expansion

Aldrich + Associates is proud to be the General Contractor / Construction Manager for a new 130,000 square foot medical office building and 770 stall parking garage to be constructed adjacent to St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, WA designed by Perkins + Will. The official ground breaking ceremony occurred on August 18, 2011 and construction is scheduled to start in September with completion fall 2012.

The new facility will house Franciscan Medical Group physician practices offering full service primary, orthopedic, neuroscience and women’s specialty care along with much needed additional parking for St. Joseph Medical Center.

Green Hill School Receives LEED Silver

The Green Hill School HCA Building in Chehalis, WA constructed by Aldrich + Associates in 2009 was recently awarded LEED Silver Certification from the USGBC/GBCI. This is the first for a DSHS facility in the State of Washington.

LEED requirements for the project were eliminated prior to construction in an effort to meet the project budget objectives. Through Aldrich’s collaboration with BCRA (architect) and the Washington State DSHS, the project team pursued the LEED Certification while still keeping the project within the project budget and schedule objectives.

The project consisted of a 21,000 square foot health administration building and 22,000 square foot juvenile detention facility.

Evergreen Medical Center – Woodinville

The 23,000 square foot Evergreen Medical Center in Woodinville opened in Spring 2011. Aldrich + Associates constructed the shell & core for a private developer who leased the entire building to Evergreen Healthcare.

Overlake Downtown Bellevue Clinic

Congratulations to Overlake in their opening of the new downtown Bellevue Clinic! In working together with tgb architects, Aldrich + Associates delivers once again. The clinic was featured in the March edition of the Healthcare Design Magazine.

Rainier Science & Technology Building

Congratulations to Pierce College and the Aldrich + Associates team in successful completion of the Rainier Science & Technology Building. Team honored in commemoration of project May 2010.The Rainier Building project included biology, chemistry, earth sciences, mathematics, and other science related classrooms and laboratories. Aldrich + Associates exceeded the owner’s LEED Silver requirements by achieving LEED Gold at no additional cost to the owner. Sustainability strategies included photo voltaic panels, natural ventilation systems, green roofs, and energy efficient heating and cooling systems.
