Breaking Ground on the new CHI Franciscan Health Rehabilitation Hospital!

We are excited to be partnering with CHI Franciscan and Kindred Healthcare on this beautiful new hospital in Tacoma. This 68,000 SF, free standing hospital will have 60 beds and 130 caregivers and providers offering rehabilitation services to patients with stroke, trauma, brain and spinal cord, neurological, amputation, orthopedic, and other condition and injury diagnoses. NEW Rehabilitation Hospital Coming to Tacoma

Aldrich + Associates, Earl Swensson Associates, CHI Franciscan, and Kindred Healthcare have teamed up to build a new long-term rehabilitation hospital in Tacoma. The new hospital will care for adults recovering from conditions such as stroke, neurological disease, injury to the brain or spinal cord and other long-term illnesses or injuries. The new facility will relocate CHI Franciscan’s inpatient rehabilitation services that are currently offered at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma. The rehabilitation hospital will be located at 815 South Vassault Street.
