MRI Fly-Over at Summit Veterinary Referral Center

In the final stages of the Summit Veterinary Referral Center (SVRC) project in Tacoma, WA, the last pieces are falling, or should I say flying, into place. On Friday, June 12, a crane hoisted the new MRI from the adjacent property and carefully flew it into place to be moved into the building through the exterior wall. After the install, the wall opening was then covered leaving no evidence a giant piece of complex equipment once came through it.

The MRI delivery is one of the final steps in the year-long multi-phased expansion and renovation that has overcome considerable challenges including late scope changes, COVID-19, unforeseen conditions, and managing work activity in a 24/7 fully operational animal hospital.
