Rainier Science & Technology Building

Congratulations to Pierce College and the Aldrich + Associates team in successful completion of the Rainier Science & Technology Building. Team honored in commemoration of project May 2010. The Rainier Building project included biology, chemistry, earth sciences, mathematics, and other science related classrooms and laboratories.  Aldrich + Associates exceeded the owner’s LEED Silver requirements by achieving LEED Gold at no additional cost to the owner.  Sustainability strategies included photo voltaic panels, natural ventilation systems, green roofs, and energy efficient heating and cooling systems.
