It's exciting to imagine what we will achieve in the next 50 years!

All-in for 50 years of quality, innovation + care

From the humble beginnings of a Bothell garage to building some of the most challenging and complex facilities for our region’s most prominent healthcare institutions, Aldrich has served the Pacific Northwest since 1972 as a full-service general contractor.

2022 marked our 50th year, and as we reflected on all that’s come before, we are proud of our project achievements, grateful for our partners in the built environment, and honored with our place in the industry as the premier general contractor for health and science facilities. Most importantly, we are thankful for the priceless contributions of our people - the A+ Team. As we look ahead, we see only the opportunity and inspiration of what the next 50 years and more may hold.

Leadership for a Lasting Legacy

Leadership for a Lasting Legacy

From Jerry Aldrich and Fred Hedman who built the firm on a foundation of treating people right to Jim Brink and Jonathan Fast who propelled us through signature projects and growth opportunities, to George Ward and John Schuh whose collaboration and perseverance mobilize our future.

Our leadership guides with our A+ values at the fore to deliver sophisticated high-quality projects with the best interests of our clients and colleagues always in mind. Principals George Ward, President, and John Schuh, Vice President, are the third generation of ownership. Project Executive Brendon Warme, General Superintendent/Safety Officer Matt Perhatch, Lead Estimator Nate Jensen, and Chief Financial Officer Brett Lantz round out the senior leadership team.

“The most exciting thing is that they’ve never lost sight of the original culture. No matter where the organization goes if they’re consistent in honoring that culture, there is no stopping them.”

- Jim Brink (Retired CEO)

A+ Culture of Care for People + Projects

Our values weren’t written down until recently, but we’ve always lived them; they’ve been part of our firm since Jerry Aldrich founded the company and created a space where authentic, personal attention to both clients and employees was a foundation of the firm.

We value and respect each of our employees for the whole person they are. Our field leaders set the standard and the tone of our firm, bringing leadership, support, and compassion every day to our teams and partners. Everyone brings their relentless energy and focused attention to doing right by each other, by our clients, and by our work. We build buildings, but first, we build relationships; when we come up with creative solutions—together—success naturally follows.

Pride in Our Portfolio

Pride in Our Portfolio

Through 50 years of creativity, innovation, and highest-quality execution, we have helped bring a variety of environments in the Pacific Northwest to life. From our start in custom homes and medical office buildings to our ongoing focus in health and science facilities and our expertise in multiple delivery methods, Aldrich continues to deliver. We are proud of every project and team partner that we’ve supported, and every provider, staff, and patient whose journey of care and healing we have been part of through our projects.
