Remember when you were a kid and playing in empty boxes was the most fun ever?!?

Using ingenuity and creativity, the Aldrich team at the EvergreenHealth Family Maternity Center constructed complete cardboard mock-ups of LDRP rooms, triage and obstetrics units, the health unit coordinators space, reception, and central team room, right down to the monitors and wall clock.

For construction in occupied acute care environments, it’s never been more important to build it right the first time. The integrated design team of EvergreenHealth, Aldrich, Ankrom Moisan Architects, and OAC Services is using the mock-ups as a template to help create the most functional and safe healing environments for hospital staff, patients, and their families.
