NKC Looked to Aldrich as a Trusted Partner in Construction

When Northwest Kidney Centers (NKC) embarked on their latest expansion project, they looked to Aldrich as a trusted partner in construction. The nonprofit consolidated its administration and distribution centers from multiple locations onto one campus. The four-plus-acre site consisted of two buildings: The Pavilion Building (LEED Silver) and Logistics Center.

The Pavilion houses administrative offices on the second floor and a new 20-station dialysis clinic on the first floor. With capacity for at least 120 patients and support staff, the clinic is equipped with an Aquaboss water treatment system for reverse osmosis dialysis. Designed to enhance healing and support well-being, the facility gives patients and staff access to nature. The two-story building features a garden view from the treatment area, a two-story common space with stadium seating, polished concrete, vaulted ceilings, and skylights for ample natural light. The clinic also provides additional rooms to offer home dialysis training and chronic kidney disease education.

The two-story Logistics Center serves as a distribution warehouse for all NKC’s locations and consists of a five-bay loading dock with its offices and open meeting spaces on the top floor.

Thank you so much for all you have done to design and create our new campus and for each milestone that brought this project to life. To watch it grow and turn into a wonderful new campus was truly amazing and I want each of you to know how much NKC appreciates your attention to detail and focus on our project, our patients and our staff.
