Dedicated Health + Science Contractor

We’re Proud to be a Dedicated Health + Science Contractor

50 years is a huge milestone. As we start our 50th year, we’ve been thinking a lot about who we have been in the past, who we are today, and who we want to be in the future. In previous posts from current President George Ward and our founder Jerry Aldrich, both shared their thoughts about our values being key elements that make Aldrich who we are as a firm. Values that have been part of our culture for our whole history and continue to guide our path.

Another element that has been with us since our early days is our focus on healthcare projects. From early medical clinics and office buildings for private practice doctors, we’ve been in the medical market for a long, long time.

The Redmond Medical Center was an early Aldrich healthcare project completed in 1985.

And that’s where we plan to stay—we’re dedicated to health and science construction, and proud of it!

We are passionate about health and science facility construction because we know that healthcare projects demand an informed, specific, and highly involved approach to execute successfully. It necessitates adhering to stringent codes and requirements that create and maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients, providers, and staff.

Because Aldrich’s focus is in the health and science market, every one of our team members is prepared for the protocols, procedures, challenges, and opportunities inherent in this kind of work. We offer decades of learned experience and hands-on knowledge; it’s not every day that a hospital or other healthcare provider gets to add a wing or remodel a floor, but it is exactly our everyday focus. Our teams bring their expertise to support facility owners and design partners in developing the best plans, designs, and construction experience for this sophisticated work.

From the office to the field, every Aldrich team member understands and appreciates the unique requirements of working in health and science environments.

One Market, Many Project Types

On the surface, our focus on healthcare and science/laboratory work may not seem very diversified, but there are SO many different types of specialties and clients within those spaces; we are very diverse in the health and science sectors as a whole. We share what we learn between each of the different aspects of this field, creating an interwoven approach of knowledge, partnerships, and creative solutions to some of the most complex challenges in the construction industry.

And we can’t wait to do more!

From critical care inpatient hospitals to our 25-years and counting partnership with Northwest Kidney Centers, we tackle health and science projects of any type, size, and complexity with the same attention to quality and positive project experience.
